2011 – Hey, I am a 38 year old female living, breathing, and very likely playing host to toxoplasmosis in Philadelphia PA. Yeah, that’s right, I got brain parasites. Well, at least I assume I do. It’s a safe bet. I live with my boyfriend, a faithful feline (yup, toxo), three birds, and three goldfish. We are all friends.

2020 – So little of this is true now. Well, I still probably have toxoplasmosis. Fair enough.

I am now 45 and I live with my daughter and parents just outside of Philly in the township of Aston. There is a dog and two hermit crabs. I am a caregiver and parent. I am trying to find my best way forward. Writing about my experience will ideally be part of that.

I have no idea how to use commas. My spelling and typing are atrocious. Deal with it.

2025 – More change still. The pandemic is “over.”

No more dog. No more hermit crabs. My mom has passed. Kid is almost 12, and I am as neurodivergent as the day is long.

I have a slightly better sense of commas, but their still a problem. Wink
